Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have stormed into the Women’s Premier League 2026 (WPL 2026) final after they crushed UP Warriorz by eight wickets in their final league game on the back of Grace Harris’ match-winning all-round efforts on January 29 in Vadodara.
Harris recorded the stunning figures of 2/22, and she also contributed with the bat as well, hitting a quickfire knock of 75 runs off 37 balls in the WPL 2026 clash.
With this thrilling win over UP Warriorz, the RCB sealed the top spot while qualifying for the final as well as shaking up the entire points table.
All four remaining teams are still fighting for the last Women’s Premier League 2026 playoff places, and only two matches are left. Every run and every ball will now matter a lot.
Here are all the WPL 2026 Playoffs qualification scenarios:
Gujarat Giants under big pressure
Gujarat Giants moved to second place after a thrilling three-run win against Delhi Capitals. They now have eight points from seven matches. But their net run rate is -0.271, so their position is not safe at all.
However, if Gujarat Giants beat Mumbai Indians in their last match on January 30, they will reach ten points and directly qualify for the playoffs. Even if they lose, they can still qualify if UP Warriorz manage to beat Delhi Capitals on February 1.
But if Gujarat loses to Mumbai by a very small margin, and Delhi Capitals then beat UP Warriorz, Delhi can go ahead of Gujarat on net run rate. In that case, Gujarat can be knocked out even after reaching eight points on the table.
Mumbai Indians still in a strong position
The defending champions, the Mumbai Indians, are still in a good position. The biggest advantage for Mumbai is their strong net run rate (0.146), which is the best among the four teams fighting for the WPL 2026 playoffs.
They also have a perfect record against Gujarat, having beaten them in all eight past matches, and they would love to continue their dominance in their next meeting. If Mumbai beats Gujarat, they will reach eight points and should qualify.
Even if Mumbai loses, they can still stay alive, but then they will need Delhi to lose against UP Warriorz. However, a heavy loss can create problems. If Mumbai loses by a big margin, they will have to depend on how badly Delhi loses their final match.

Delhi Capitals with no room for mistakes
Delhi Capitals had a tough start to this Women’s Premier League season, then made a strong comeback with back-to-back impressive wins over MI and RCB. But their recent loss to Gujarat has put them in a risky position.
If DC beats UP Warriorz in the final league match, they will qualify for the WPL 2026 Eliminator, no matter what happens in the MI vs. GG game. But if DC loses and GG beats MI, then Delhi, Mumbai, and UP can all end up on the same points. In that case, the net run rate will decide everything.
The good thing for Delhi is that they play the last league match, so they will know exactly how much they need to win or avoid losing by to progress further in the tournament.
UP Warriorz are almost out of WPL 2026 but not finished
UP Warriorz are at the bottom of the table with four points and the worst net run rate (-1.146) among other teams. Their chances are very slim, but they are still alive on paper. For UP to qualify, many things must go their way. They must beat Delhi Capitals by a huge margin.
At the same time, they need Gujarat to beat Mumbai by a big margin too. Only then can UP go ahead of both teams on net run rate and qualify with six points. If UP suffers a heavy defeat against Delhi, their journey will end in the WPL 2026, so they need something very special for playoff qualification.
