'You need eyes to see': Shaheen Afridi humiliates Ramiz Raja on Live TV during PSL final

Shaheen Afridi shut Ramiz Raja down during the toss of the final of PSL 2025. Shaheen was leading Lahore Qalandars, and at the toss, Ramiz asked Shaheen about the secret of his performance in important matches.

Shaheen lost the toss and Lahore were forced to bowl first against Quetta Gladiators in the PSL 2025 final.

Ramiz asked about the secret behind Shaheen’s improved performances as the match gets more important. In response, Shaheen stated that his performance was always there; no one was seeing that time.

“What's the secret, Shaheen? Your performances keep getting better as the matches get more important,” Ramiz Raja said at the Toss.

“The performances have always been there, you just need the eyes to see them,” Shaheen Afridi answered.

Shaheen Afridi’s unmatchable captaincy record

Lahore Qalandars skipper Shaheen added another feather to his cap as he became the most successful captain in PSL history.

Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by six wickets in the final. Shaheen won the third PSL title as a skipper, and no skipper in Pakistan cricket has won the title twice.

PSL 2025 final

Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bat first. Quetta were the table toppers in the PSL 10. They posted a huge score of 202 runs in the first innings.

Lahore’s opener gave an aggressive start and put their team in the driving seat. Naeen scored 46 runs off 27 balls and contributed the most in the powerplay.

Lahore never looked under pressure, and their batters easily chased the target. They targeted Mohammad Amir in the death overs to turn the game for their side.

Lahore needed two runs in two balls, and Sikandar Raza scored the winning runs. Raza landed just 10 minutes before the toss for the PSL 2025 final. The Zimbabwe all-rounder was playing against England at Trent Bridge in the red-ball format.

Sikandar bowled 20-odd overs and batted 20 overs on the last day of the Test match, and after the match, he immediately left England and joined the Lahore team for the final of PSL 10.
