Pakistani cricket commentator Aamer Sohail humiliated an overseas commentator, Lisa Sthalekar, in the commentary box during a PSL match between the Rawalpindi Pindiz and Multan Sultans.

The Pakistan Super League has already been under the scanner due to several controversies. The major controversies include the ball tampering incident, which led to a two-match ban for senior cricketer Fakhar Zaman. Another controversy was marked involving the change in ball colour during a Hyderabad Kingsmen game.

Following these controversies, the latest one that has followed has not involved players but the on-field commentators. Pakistani commentator Aamer Sohail and Lisa Sthalekar were seen equally involved in the incident.

Pakistan commentator humiliates a female colleague during PSL game

During a Pakistan Super League match between the two franchises, Multan Sultans and Rawalpindi Pindiz, the two commentators, Aamer Sohail and Lisa Sthalekar, were in the commentary box, and Sohail pulled a humiliating joke on his fellow commentator.

Lisa Sthalekar, "Good early call from Rizwan; we heard him on the stump mic. Chalo, chalo."

Aamir Sohail, "You should be working at a bus stand. You would be earning a lot of money."

This looked like a personal humiliation for the women, and has been dealt with severe controversies on social media. Social media has fumed over these recent incidents, and the PSL has been subjected to another major controversy.

Mohammad Rizwan dismissed for another low score in the PSL

Mohammad Rizwan, the Pakistani veteran, was dismissed for just 19 runs in this game as well, which continued the low-scoring streak for the Rawalpindi Pindiz openers. The captain of the Pindiz has also failed to lead the team to victories.

The Pindiz middle-order batter Daryl Mitchell has been significantly contributing to their batting order. In this game, Sam Billings scored a half-century in that match, putting on a partnership with Kamran Ghulam.

However, they lost their fourth game in a row in this edition of the Pakistan Super League. Multan Sultans chased the 183-run target with ease, as Josh Philippe and Sahibzada Farhan's century partnership saw them through to the target.

Multan Sultans top the PSL points table in debut season

Multan Sultans have been in stunning form in 2026. The Sultans brought in some legendary players like Steve Smith, their World Cup veteran Sahibzada Farhan, wicket-keeper batter Josh Phillippe, and skipper Ashton Turner for an impactful edition in the PSL.

The team looked very balanced, as they have managed to win 4 matches out of the 5 outings. Their only loss came against Lahore Qalandars in a rain-affected match. However, they then won the consecutive games against the Quetta Gladiators and the Rawalpindi Pindiz. Currently, they top the PSL 2026 points table.
