Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has indirectly slammed Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, for making fun of him on Harbhajan Singh’s wife, Geeta Basra’s, show "Who's The Boss?" However, Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t take their names but made it clear that they hurt him a bit.

Recently, Chahal appeared on Raj Shamani’s podcast, where he opened up about the misconceptions about him and what he feels when the world takes granted from him. The leg-spinner said that he notices everything, and sometimes people cross the line, and that hurts him.

Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, appeared on "Who's The Boss?" where they were asked to describe Chahal in a word by Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh. While the Indian captain burst into laughter when the leg-spinner’s name came up, Ritika called him “cartoon,” leaving Harbhajan and Geeta laughing wildly on the live show.

Not just that, Ritika added that “he is usually a cartoon.” And when the host, Raj Shamani, hinted about the episode, Chahal just paused with serious emotion and just smiled. Even he didn’t mention Rohit or Ritika, but his expressions were enough to explain how he felt when they laughed at him.

The Indian bowler revealed that he always speaks politely and jokes around with everyone, but some people start taking him for granted, and certain things do hurt him sometimes.

Yuzvendra Chahal said on the podcast, “I talk to everyone with a smile. I talk to everyone respectfully. I keep joking and having fun with everyone. So, some people take it for granted. People are like, We can say anything to him; we can joke with him; he will not say anything.

It is not my nature to feel bad, but yeah, people have taken me for granted. I live my life the way I want to. But sometimes, certain things hit you hard and hurt.”

On being asked when you got hurt or someone crossed the line, Chahal responded with a cryptic smile and said, “So, I notice everything. I know… I didn't become a chess player by accident.”

Yuzvendra Chahal says he’s moved on from Dhanashree Verma

Meanwhile, Chahal also revealed that he is no longer in touch with his ex-wife, Dhanashree. He made it clear that there was no big fight or drama between them, but he believes that once something ends, it should be left in the past.

Chahal also revealed that their last conversation happened around September 2024, during their divorce discussions with their lawyers. Since then, they haven’t spoken in over six to seven months. And the spinner feels it is best to move forward without keeping any emotional ties.

He said, “Ho gye honge 6-7 mahine, kuch kaam ka hoga to bus us baare m baat hoti thi wrna nahi. I think after the World Cup, 18-19 July, it ended properly. (It's been around 6–7 months. If there was something important, we only spoke about that; otherwise, no conversation. I think after the World Cup, around 18–19 July, it officially ended.”
