2 Explosions Kill 3 Cricketers in Afghanistan, Six Spectators Injured

Two remote-controlled explosions took off during local cricket matches in two different districts. The blast killed three cricketers and injured six others, including spectators.
In addition to this, the districts are a part of eastern Nangarhar province.
First Explosion:
The spokesperson of the provincial governor, Attaullah Khogyani admitted an explosion took place in Bati Kot district. Further, it killed three young cricketers and wounded two viewers. It was a local friendly match.

Second Explosion:
The second explosion took place in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province. It left wounded four spectators. Zabiullah Zemarai, a member of the Nangarhar Provincial Council later admitted it.
Meanwhile, no one claimed any responsibility for the explosions. While militants from both the Taliban and the local affiliate of the Islamic State group operate in Nangarhar province.
