They always had better players in their side but the lack of application from the top players made things tough for the team. However, for IPL 2020, they made quite a few changes to their support staff, which might bring a bit of luck to the team. Meanwhile, we figured out 3 players who might be released from RCB squad.

The wicket-keeper was drafted into the IPL  by Rajasthan after his heroics in South Africa vs India series. Later, RCB had him in their side as a  backup wicket-keeper. But, unfortunately, he couldn’t get many chances due to a few star players in the team. Despite that, the franchise would release him just to have a vacant overseas slot during the upcoming auctions. With Maxwell, James Neesham in the auction pool, RCB would target them.

At the fag end of the tournament, with nothing to lose, RCB offered him three games, but a no-show with the bat didn’t help his cause. In the upcoming auction, the 28-year-old might once again see himself going under the hammer in the auction.

Royal Challengers Bangalore expected him to deliver goods for the team but unfortunately, the fast-tracked game has never settled him in his shoes. Even the likes of Prithvi Shaw has smashed him to all corners of the park. Perhaps, all those stats would see him stay away from Royal Challengers Bangalore for Indian Premier League 2020.

As a senior pro in the team, Southee was tasked as a death overs specialist but the New Zealander failed miserably and leaked runs at an economy of over 13. It won’t be surprising if Bangalore considers releasing the Kiwi pacer after his horrendous experience in the RCB outfit in 2019.

It would be a tough choice but Royal Challengers Bangalore would consider it. The all-rounder looked pretty ordinary with the bat while his contribution with the ball is below par. He came into RCB side in a transfer method from Kings XI Punjab. Despite entering into the tournament a bit late, the flamboyant all-rounder hasn’t made things fall in place.

With Mike Hesson being the head coach, who initiated the transfer of Stoinis to RCB when he was Punjab coach, the young coach would once again ask Virat Kohli to send Stoinis into the auction pool. The franchise main target would get James Neesham into their side.
