It is going to be an eye feast for the cricket fanatics during the final game between India women and Australia women, as the fans are rushing to buy tickets. Already 75000 tickets were sold out for the highly anticipated clash, which will see many legendary figures in the attendance.

The iconic venue Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) set to witness the biggest-ever crowd for a women’s game when India clash with hosts Australia in the final of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2020 on Sunday evening.

75000 Tickets were snapped up:

India and Australia had kick-started the Women’s T20 World Cup on February 21, a match where the hosts suffered their only loss in the tournament. India maintained an unbeaten record in the group stages that helped them enter their first-ever T20 World Cup final despite their semi-final clash against England being called-off without a ball bowled in Sydney.

On the other hand, Australia, who will be featuring in their seventh T20 World Cup final, had defeated South Africa in a rain-affected second semi-final on Thursday to make it to another final in the tournament’s history.

“48 hours to go until the ICC Women’s #T20WorldCup Final and over 75,000 tickets have been snapped up,” read a T20 World Cup handle tweet on Friday.

Over 75,000 tickets have been sold for the finals and Harmanpreet said her team will look to enjoy the big stage and play positive cricket.

“It’s a great feeling. It’s the first time we’re going to see 90,000 people in the stadium and we’re really looking positive for that,” said Harmanpreet, who has played in front of a sold-out crowd in the 2017 Cricket World Cup Final against England at Lord’s.

All in all, it is going to be a spectacular clash on Sunday, which is also an International Women Day. India will look to win their maiden title while Australians would love to lift the trophy in home conditions.
