Perhaps, Corey Anderson is the unluckiest cricketer in New Zealand cricket. He has got all the ingredients in him to become the next big thing for the Kiwis. However, his career got marred with injuries. Meanwhile, the all-rounder wants to make a comeback in the side ahead of the 2019 World Cup.

The flamboyant cricketer has been exceptional in his ranks during his stint in the English county and is also back on the track in domestic cricket as well. Meanwhile, Anderson has been picked for New Zealand A tour to Pakistan.

Meanwhile, he confirms he is right nick to deliver the goods and hoping for a productive domestic season. All in all, a testing couple of months is on the way for Corey Anderson in his career.

“I really want to be in that side. I want to be in there right now. There’s still that dream and still that goal,” Anderson told stuff.co.nz. I think it’s probably just making sure I’m doing it the right way as well. Trying to earn [my place] back and earn the right to be in the side. Performing at that level is the next biggest thing you have to try and achieve.”

“It’s given me that little bit of love back in the game, which you tend to lose sometimes when you get bummed out with injuries. It’s nice to feel like I’ve got my body back and I can get stuck into it. Cricket, obviously is a beautiful game and it’s fun to play, we love doing it, but it’s also about being a good person and keeping your well-being really fit and strong and making sure you’re covering off all other aspects of your life as well,” he added.

However, the addition of Corey Anderson would be certainly a positive addition for the team, as he can deliver the goods with the bat and ball. Meanwhile, he needs to prove his mettle in the domestic cricket.
