England took all the 10 wickets of the opposition for the 26th time in a row. The Ben Stokes-led side won the toss and opted to bat first. They continued an aggressive style of play and piled up 393 runs on the board before they made a surprise declaration. In the second essay, England wasn’t too good with the bat as they didn’t bat well.
But vital 40s from Ben Stokes, Joe Root, and Harry Brook helped them post a second innings total of 273 runs on the board, setting Australia a target of 280 runs to chase. It remains to be seen if they can bowl out the opposition for the 27th time in a row or not.
