It’s time for Team India to take the field in blue Jersey. The all-important Asia Cup 2018 is about to start with the clash against Hong Kong for Team India. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma addressed the media ahead of their opening game and speaks about Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav.

The skipper of Indian cricketer highlighted the Indian middle-order vows the possible options in the team. The classy stroke-maker quoted that he is happy with the core team that he got to defend the champions tag.

Rohit Sharma believes Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav will do the job:

The flamboyant batsman quoted that they have their trust on the duo Kedar Jadhav and Ambati Rayudu in the middle-order. He addressed that both gentlemen will play the major role in team’s combination.

He feels that the comeback of Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav is a good thing for Team India. Rohit Sharma went on to add that he is happy for both the people for making a comeback in the team.

”I already did captaincy for India. Still, I am very excited to lead the team in Asia Cup 2018. This is very big tournament for me. It is a bit of nervous thing but I am quite excited for it,” Rohit Sharma quoted.

 

”Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav are important members of the team. Them making a comeback is good for the team. It is important for us that they perform well. I am happy that they are back,” said Rohit Sharma.

However, as Ambati Rayudu said, the comeback of the duo is important for India to get an answer for the number 4 slot. With Virat Kohli staying away from the Asia Cup 2018, a lot of things will be dependent on them.

India to start the Asia Cup 2018 against Hong Kongs:

India will enter the tournament as the defending champions. They will take on Hong Kong in their first game on September 18th in Dubai. It will be followed by the game against their arch-rivals, Pakistan on the very next day.
