Of late, the impact of young Jasprit Bumrah on the game of cricket has been massive since his appearance for Team India. His presence in the team is a huge boost for the interim skipper Rohit Sharma. He can be used as the primary weapon in the bowling department for the impending Asia Cup 2018.

Meanwhile, the fast bowler, Bumrah is eyeing to strengthen his position at number one in ODI rankings by featuring in Asia Cup.

Within a short period, Bumrah overtook many greats of the game to stay at the top of ICC Charts. He wants to increase the weight of his place by performing the best for his country in the Asia Cup 2018.

The unorthodox fast bowler Bumrah sustained an injury in the Twenty20 International game against Ireland, eventually, missing the games against England in the limited-overs format. ”The Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates is going to be huge and I’m really looking forward to doing my best here,” Bumrah said.

“Being at the top of the ICC rankings is a matter of great pride for me. We will be playing against some leading players and I know the conditions can be challenging but I’m hoping to be at my best,” Bumrah said.

Currently, Bumrah is well ahead of Afghanistan ace Rashid Khan with 20 points in his bag. However, the couple of good performances from Afghanistan player could make the difference.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s Hasan Ali is also licking his lips to grab the number one spot in the ODI rankings. He is in third place and will be looking to take the Asia Cup 2018 by a storm.

However, it would be intriguing to see how players will approach the tournament and finishes it.

Meanwhile, alongside Jasprit Bumrah, the spin duo Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav will also involve in the fight as well in the Asia Cup 2018.
