Asia Cup 2018: Sachin Tendulkar Showers Praise on India For the Triumph

Former Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar congratulated India on winning the Asia Cup for the seventh time beating Bangladesh by three wickets the final match. However, Sachin is really happy for his nation and all the young boys. The Men in Blue played some extraordinary cricket at Dubai International Stadium throughout the tournament as they ticked all the boxes.

Meanwhile, the final of the tournament went down to the wire as Bangladesh gave a tough competition to India. Moreover, India played some fantastic cricket in the Asia Cup 2018. Sachin Tendulkar liked the way the Men in Blue performed.

India made a record of winning the Asia Cup for the seventh time.

“I did not see all the matches. Whenever I see, I feel happy for the way we (Indian team) are performing”, Sachin Tendulkar told reporters.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar credited the whole India team and some individual for their fabulous efforts. Rohit and Dhawan were the highest run scorer in the tournament and Rohit Sharma has risen to the second spot in the latest ICC ODI rankings for batsmen.

“I will give the credit to the whole team. Individuals come and perform well, some players play the series well, some players cannot perform as desired but eventually I’ll say that I feel happy after seeing the team effort,” he added.

Sachin Tendulkar said that his grandmother used to say ‘health is your real wealth’. Thus, Sachin also used to share the same message to the entire India team to look after their health. However, some of the Indian players had missed a lot of matches due to their health issue.

“I was brought up by my grandmother who used to say that your health is your real wealth and the same message I would like to give to the entire nation. Look after your health and stay fit,” Sachin Tendulkar added.

India was able to come up with a complete performance in the Asia Cup. They will now lock horns with Windies in their own home conditions.
