A fine performance from Bangladesh.

Consequently, the pair of Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun who had rescued Bangladesh against Sri Lanka by putting a 133 runs partnership, repeated their magic again. However, Rahim was a bit unfortunate as he could not complete his hundred as he felt one run short. On the other hand, Bangladesh lower order could apply the finishing touches to their total as they a scored at almost run-a-ball in their last seven overs. In fact, Bangladesh could not play all their 50 overs as they set a target of 240 runs.

Meanwhile, Junaid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan as the southpaw pacer scalped four wickets. Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali were able to chip in with two wickets each.
