Australia vs India 2018: Australia Name Unchanged 13-Man Squad for Remaining Two Tests

The hosts Australia have backed their 13-man squad for the remaining two Test matches against India. Australia has named an unchanged 13-man squad for the forthcoming two Test matches. Australia’s vice-captain Mitchell Marsh and Peter Siddle continues to be part of the squad for the last two games.

Meanwhile, Australia has played a similar playing XI in both the Test matches. They had backed their final XI in the second Test match at Perth after losing the first match. Subsequently, they came up with a fine performance to level the series and get back into the contest.

In fact, the hosts are once again expected to go with same last XI as it was a collective team effort in the second match. However, they might include Mitchell Marsh in place of out-of-form Peter Handscomb.

The hosts won the second Test match by a huge margin of 146 runs to square the four-match series. Consequently, they bounced back in style after losing the first Test by 31 runs.

All the Australian players came up with fine performances to get their team back on the track. On the other hand, India was forced to make two changes to their playing XI after respective injuries to Ravichandran Ashwin and Rohit Sharma.

Australia will now have the impetus on their side whereas India will like to make a solid comeback in the Boxing day Test match. The visitors will like to sort out their opening partnership woes in the next match.

The third Test match will take place at Melbourne from December 26.
