The right-handed all-rounder from Australia Glenn Maxwell heaps praises on Rishabh Pant for his exceptional cricketing skills. The duo shared the dressing room when they were playing together for Delhi franchise in IPL 2018.

Rishabh Pant has been the often headliner during the ongoing Test series between India and Australia. Though he failed to chip in with the scores, he troubled Australians with his sledging behind the stumps.

Glenn Maxwell believes that Australia has seen only the surface of Rishabh Pant as far as his talent is concerned. He showered high praise of words on the Indian youngster for his incredible batting skills, which he displayed during the Indian Premier League 2018.

Further, he went on to add saying that he would like to be glued to the television whenever he comes to the crease. Maxwell feels that Rishabh Pant is shaping his gymnastic skills as well to become the fittest cricketer in the times to come.

“He’s an amazing talent. We have only seen him scratch the surface in terms of his ability,” Maxwell told reporters on Thursday. “I’ve been glued to my TV every time he’s come out to bat … if he does get going, it’s pretty good to watch.

“He’s extremely talented … he played some extraordinary innings for us over there. He got an amazing hundred, where he just kept reserve-scooping balls with a straight bat, over the third man for six. I think he was a gymnast growing up, so he’s extremely flexible. He can manipulate his body into different positions to hit the ball.”

Well, as Glenn Maxwell said, Rishabh Pant has got tremendous skills in his kitty to make it big for India. However, he needs to apply his skills on the field to make things happen for him to register scores on the board.
