Well, ahead of Boxing Day Test, Indian National Cricket Team has got yet another reason to push themselves for the victory. They are on verge of breaking something special record to register themselves on the elite record list. Well, spill the beans, if Virat Kohli and Co win the Boxing Day Test match, they will be achieving 150th Test victory for India.

India is just one victory away from completing 150 Test wins – a feat achieved only by Australia (384), England (364), West Indies (171) and South Africa (161). It would be a massive feat if India wins the game at Melbourne Cricket Grounds.

However, there wasn’t a decent stat welcoming Indian National Cricket Team before heading to Boxing Day Test. Last time, they won a game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground was way back in 1981 and since then, they have lost five and drawn twice (1985 & 2014).

On the other hand, the hosts Australia last lost a Test in 2010 against England. Since that heavy defeat, the hosts have won five encounters and drawn twice. They also got the momentum on their side with a victory at Perth.

Virat Kohli-led side is high on confidence:

Unlike earlier team, Virat Kohli has got a lot of quality in his side to tackle Australians in their home soil. Especially, he got brilliant bowling attack and also got the advantage of playing depleted Australian side.

The opposition lost their best players due to ball-tampering saga but managed to get the best bowling troop in the unit. Meanwhile, the Indian side is in trouble with their opening combination, the department, which is faring pretty poorly.

The third Test of the series will be played on December 26th at a historic MCG venue. Both the sides have already announced their playing XI for the upcoming game. With the series victory at stake, expect a cracking contest.
