India’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami showed great sportsmanship when he asked Nathan Lyon whether he was fine after hitting him with a bouncer. Shami welcomed Lyon with a short-pitched delivery which hit Lyon on the shoulder. Shami gestured a thumbs up and Lyon also responded with the same. Thus, it was good to see Mohammed Shami asking the batsman whether he was fine or not.

Shami was able to dismiss the dangerous looking Mitchell Starc who was looking to score his runs quickly. The southpaw batsman had scored 28 runs from 44 balls with the help of two boundaries. This was Shami’s third wicket of the innings after he bagged two in the first dig.

Meanwhile, Pat Cummins has shown great resistance with the bat as the pacer has played 106 balls for his 23 runs. Thus, Cummins has been the roadblock between India and the victory.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah took the big wicket of Shaun Marsh who scored 60 runs from 166 balls. Hence, Bumrah was successful in taking out the big fish. Ishant Sharma gave an ideal start to India when he dismissed Travis Head in the first hour of the day. The lanky fast bowler bowled a fine bouncer to the leading Australia run-scorer of the first dig.

India needs another one wicket to win the first Test match at Adelaide whereas Australia requires another 80 runs. Rishabh Pant has galloped 11 catches in the ongoing match as he broke the record of Wriddhiman Saha for most catches in a Test match, who had taken 10.

However, Pant fluffed Pat Cummins catch when he was on 24 runs. Pant moved to his left with momentum and tried to go for the one-handed catch.
