Australia vs India 2018: Watch: Tim Paine Tempts Rohit Sharma to Go for a Six

Australia captain Tim Paine tried to get under the skin of Indian batsman Rohit Sharma. Paine had a few words to say to the Indian limited-overs deputy. The Australian wicketkeeper said if Rohit Sharma hits a six at the gargantuan coliseum of Melbourne Cricket Ground, he would change to Mumbai.
Furthermore, Tim Paine said that the toughest two overs he ever faced in his career were when Rohit Sharma bowled to him. Meanwhile, Tim Paine had said to Murali Vijay in the second Test, Murali, “I know he is your captain but you can’t seriously like him as a bloke”.

Rohit Sharma will like to get a big score.
Moreover, Paine said Finchy is going to roll his arms after the Tea break to further entice Rohit Sharma into a false shot. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma did not get carried away by Tim Paine’s words and backed his defence to play safe till Tea was taken.

The flamboyant batsman is currently batting at 14 and would like to get a big score under his belt. It is crucial for the right-hander to get a good score to cement his place in the Test side. On the other hand, Ajinkya Rahane started his innings in an aggressive manner and then took a more stoic approach.

Meanwhile, Cheteshwar Pujara scored his 17th Test hundred. Pujara batted with determination as he was not in a mood to give away his wicket. It took a ball that kept low to breach Cheteshwar Pujara’s defence.
