On Sunday, Deepak Chahar has broken quite a few records with his scintillating show against Bangladesh. Yuzvendra Chahal is one of them, who lost his record in international cricket following the performance of Deepak Chahar with the ball. For the same, Chahal takes his revenge by trolling him on his ”Chahal TV”.
He started off brilliantly by knocking out Liton Das when Washington Sunday held a brilliant catch in the deep and it was quickly followed by the dismissal of Soumya Sarkar. Then he entered back into the action when Rohit Sharma asked him to give a breakthrough in the middle overs, which he did it for his skipper by removing Mohammad Mithun in the middle overs.
Finally, he returned back in the death overs and straightaway knocked out the tail-enders of Bangladesh to bag his maiden five-wicket haul in the T20I format of the game, in fact, in International cricket. He made it even memorable with a beautiful yorker to finish the game in style. It also includes a blistering hat-trick.
Bade Besharam Aadmi ho yaar tum – Yuzvendra Chahal to Deepak Chahar
Before Chahar’s record-breaking exploits in Nagpur, Chahal had held the record for the best bowling figures by an Indian male in T20I cricket. The leg-spinner had registered figures of six for 25 off his four overs in a T20I match against England in 2017. In the latest, Chahar completely demolished that record and Chahal decided to poke fun at the pacer for doing so.
While introducing Deepak Chahar to the interview, Chahal said: “What do we say in bowling about this man. Aaj mera hi record tod diya, ‘bade besharam aadmi ho yaar tum’ (Today my record was broken. You are a shameless man).”
“Quite a good feeling. Even if you are sitting at home, you will not think that in a T20I match you will take six wickets, giving away 7 runs in four overs,” Chahar told his teammate.
However, it was a stunning day at the office for the flamboyant cricketer. When all the bowlers are leaking runs in the middle, Deepak Chahar stood tall for the Indian team to deliver under pressure.
