Well, Bangladesh Premier League has always been under the pump for their weak organising of the tournament. Once again, the poor umpiring has taken the limelight in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League 2019. The umpiring have been at such a low level, which surprised the fans and the commentators on a regular basis.

In the 26th match of the ongoing tournament when Mahedi Hasan was bowling final over of his quota, he received such a strange call from the umpire. It was the fourth ball of the over, which was bowled on the wide line after being smacked for a six in the previous delivery.

Comilla Victorians won by 11 runs:

As the ball was short, the batsman Rasooli tried to play a cut but only managed to get a thickish inside edge. The ball got a bounce in front of the keeper, who missed to grab it. However, he was quick in recovering the ball and saved a run for the team.

But, then came the shocking decision, as the umpire felt that was a wide delivery. The call left the bowler and the fielder furious, as the edge on the bat is clearly visible even for the commentators, who are miles away from the pitch.

The umpire tried to explain things for the fielders but, unfortunately, he couldn’t do so, as the replays were pretty clear that the ball took a healthy edge. However, the keeper wanted to calm down things, which let the game progressed.

Coming to the match review, it was Comilla Victorians, who won the game comfortably against Dhaka Dynamites. Initially, Dhaka won the toss and asked Comilla to bat first. The impressive knocks of Tamim and Rahman pushed total to 153 on the board.

In reply, apart from Andre Russell, none of the batsmen converted their starts into a decent one. In the end, it was Victorians, who held their nerve to seal a 7-run victory.
