The BCCI has managed to solve the problem of kit sponsorship for Indian men’s team ahead of the tour of Australia. The Indian team ran the risk of touring down under without a sponsor; however, Mobile Premier League Sports Association has stepped up timely. The BCCI has signed a three-year contract with MPL, beginning with the tour of Australia.

Mobile Premier League, which is India’s largest esports platform, is the new kit sponsor and official merchandise partner for the Indian team. The three-year agreement signed by the BCCI begins from November 2020 and will go on till December 2023 while the women and U-19 sides were also part of the deal for the new jerseys. MPL sports would also sell licensed team India merchandise and jerseys to fans at reasonable prices.
