BCCI Reveals Salaries of Ravi Shastri and Rahul Dravid

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the salary of Indian head coach, Ravi Shastri. The Indian board also paid the wages of India A and Under-19 head coach, Rahul Dravid.
Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has received a salary of INR 1.89 Crores for three months. Shastri received his payment for the period of 18-04-2018 to 17-07-2018. Thus, the former all-rounder is paid an amount of INR 63 lakhs per month.
Coaches are paid handsomely by the Indian board.
On the other hand, India A and Under-19 chief coach, Rahul Dravid received an amount of INR 40.5 lakhs for March. Therefore, the Wall draws an annual salary of INR 4.86 crores.
Meanwhile, Barinder Sran dues were also cleared by the Indian board. The Kings XI Punjab fast bowler was paid an amount of Rs 4007135.00 as Match fee, Tour fee and Retainership fee for India tour to Australia and Zimbabwe in 2016.
Furthermore, Ravi Shastri had replaced Anil Kumble as the head coach of the Indian team after a lot of controversies last year. Thus, Shastri is going to be India’s coach for the upcoming World Cup in England and Wales.
In fact, Shastri has a great bonhomie with Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The Indian chief coach also increased the passing score of Yo-Yo test from 16.1 to 16.3.
Meanwhile, Rahul Dravid contract got renewed, as he continues to polish the young Indian players. Dravid is currently with the India A team on their tour of England.
Indian board is the richest cricket board in the world. Consequently, it is not surprising to note that the coaches are paid a hefty amount of money for their job. Moreover, the Indian players are also paid handsomely by the BCCI.
