Ben Stokes has matured as a cricketer ever since his involvement in the Bristol Night Club brawl. He had a phenomenal 2019 where he stood out as the hero for England in their World Cup triumph followed by a phenomenal performance in the Headingley Ashes. Stokes arguably continues to be the best all-rounder in the cricketing circuit.

He joined the Rajasthan Royals squad recently which has added depth to the side. Stokes has been asked to open by his captain Steve Smith. The all-rounder was sent packing for five runs in the first match while he came back strongly with a quick-fire 41 in his second game of the IPL 2020.

Ben Stokes can do some freaky stuff on the cricket field: Jos Buttler

Stokes joins his English teammates Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler and Tom Curran in the Rajasthan Royals side. Buttler is full of praises for the ‘superhuman’ as he believes that Stokes can pull off some freaky stuff on the cricket field and he is pretty talented.

“Probably say Ben Stokes… He has been a superhuman for us in English cricket. He tends to do some freaky stuff on the cricket field, he’s pretty talented,” said Jos Buttler in YouTube show called Royals Rapid Fire.

Along with Stokes, the Jaipur franchise heavily bank on their overseas players which includes the likes of Jos Buttler, Steve Smith and Jofra Archer. The franchise won two out of their three matches in the IPL 2020, in absence of Stokes.

IPL 2020 will be played entirely in UAE due to the pandemic situation forcing the cricket board to host the tournament away from India. The latter stage of the tournament might see at least 30 per cent of crowd being allowed to the stadiums.
