Two teams with contrasting start to their campaign in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 – St Lucia Zouks (STZ) and Barbados Tridents (BT) – will take on each other in the first game of the double-header day three.

Defending champions Barbados Tridents started their title defence with a thrilling six-run win over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Despite being on the backfoot for majority of the game, the Tridents managed to hold their nerves to win their first game of CPL 2020.

On the other hand, the Zouks have started their campaign with a crushing 5-wicket loss at the hands of Jamaica Tallawahs. With the bat, they managed 158 for 7 before Tallawahs chased down the total with quite ease in the end. The St Lucia-based outfit will be looking to get back to winning ways and not get left behind in the race for the playoffs early on in the competition.
