Cricket Ireland Promotes Ireland-India Series with help of MS Dhoni

Cricket Ireland has asked their fans to buy tickets for the Ireland-India T20I series. Ireland had tried to attract the cricket fans to catch former Indian skipper MS Dhoni in action. India will play two T20I against Ireland before their engaging tour of England.

The first T20I would take place at Dublin on June 27 with the second one taking place on June 29 at the same venue. Consequently, MS Dhoni would be seen in action in the two matches against the Men in Green.

MS Dhoni is the perfect ambassador of the game.

Furthermore, MS Dhoni had regained his lost form in the recently concluded Indian Premier League. Dhoni scored 455 runs in the 15 innings he played in the tournament.

The Talisman batsman was seen at his best, as he scored his runs at an average of 75.83 and a blistering strike rate of 175.66. Thus, Dhoni’s fine form would be the perfect icing on the cake for the cricket fans of both countries.

Meanwhile, it is known of the fact that Dhoni is a perfect ambassador of the game. The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman has always played his game in the right spirit. Dhoni has done justice to the various roles in the Indian Cricket.

However, clouds are hovering over the participation of Virat Kohli in the T20I series against Ireland.

As the impending England tour will follow the Ireland series, Kohli can be given a precautionary rest.

India captain is currently recuperating from a neck injury. In case Virat Kohli doesn’t play against Ireland, Rohit Sharma will hold the reins of captaincy.

Ireland Cricket took to Twitter to attract their fans in buying the tickets with the help of MS Dhoni. Their post read as, “MS Dhoni is coming and you can see him play at Malahide on 27 June 2018. How big is this? In 2011 Time Magazine included Dhoni in its annual Time 100 list as one of the “Most Influential People in the World”!.
