Danielle Wyatt Expresses Concern Over Kerala Floods

Kerala is facing nature’s fury as the state has met with the worst floods in the last 100 years owing to its history. As per the reports, 324 lost their lives whereas, lakhs of people are left stranded following the Kerala floods. England cricketer Danielle Wyatt comes up with a tweet.

Torrential rain followed by floods has caused devastation to half of the state. The advisory issued red cards to around 12 districts of the state, and it is estimated that toll may go up.

The hopes sunk further as that metrological department predicted that more rains spells are likely to come. More than 1500+ relief centres are working, but the ground situation is still out of control.

From the perspective of relief works, Cheif Minister Distant Relief Fund is in place to help the needy people.

Many Indian cricketers have come up to present their shares in the relief works. The skipper of the Indian team, Virat Kohli, and his fellow teammates have displayed their interest in relief works.

Besides their relief, they have urged countrymen also to come forward and join than hands to rehabilitate the stranded people.

In a surprise gesture, the cricketer of England’s Women’s team player, Danielle has expressed concern over the devastation caused by floods in Kerala. She came up with a message for the people to stay safe in the hour of need.

The England cricketer is feeling dejected for the people of Kerela who are facing the wrath from nature. When Wyatt received the news about the conditions of floods in the God’s Own Country, she hopes that everyone will stay safe and sound.

She took Instagram and wrote in her story, “Stay safe people in Kerala! Devastating news.”

Earlier, in a goodwill gesture, Indian cricketer Sanju Samson announced INR 15 Lakh rupees for the victims. The father and brother of the cricketer met Chief Minister of Kerela Pinarayi Vijayan to present him the check on behalf of Samson.
