David Warner shaves his head off in support of medical and security staff amid coronavirus crisis:

The 33-year-old who has played 84 Tests and 123 ODI matches for his country, decided to trim his hair in honour of the medical and security staff who are the first line of defence against the contagious disease.

“Been nominated to shave my head in support of those working on the frontline Covid-19 here is a time-lapse. I think my debut was the last time I recall I’ve done this. Like it or not”, wrote Warner in the caption along with his video and a pic.

After completing the challenge, the left-handed opener also nominated his compatriots, Steve Smith and Pat Cummins, along with Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

The Coronavirus has forced the whole world to come to a standstill, and as a consequence, all the sporting activities across the globe have been affected. Australia was due to visit Bangladesh for a series in June later this year, although there are doubts if the tour will go through as planned initially.

“You don’t have to be Einstein to realise (the Bangladesh tour) is probably unlikely to go ahead, particularly in June. Whether it’s cancelled or pushed back, we’re not quite sure at the moment,” cricket.com.au quoted Test skipper Tim Paine as saying, recently.

In Australia alone, the coronavirus has caused 19 casualties, with more than 4000 people have tested coronavirus positive.
