Day Two: Australia A Post 42 For One in Second Innings Against India A

In the ongoing four-day Test fixture between India A and Australia A at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, India A started off their day 2 at 41 runs on their board.

Moreover, there was a brilliant knock from Usman Khawaja on day one who scored more than half the runs for his team. He scored 127 runs off his bat and later Marnus Labuschagne added some valuable 60 runs to settle with a score of 243 runs. Mohammed Siraj picked up eight wickets for his team including that of Khawaja.

India A opener Ravikumar Samarth and Mayank Agarwal added 62 runs for their first wicket. The middle-order batsman, Ankit Bawne scored the highest runs for his team. He remained unbeaten on 91 runs. Australia A bowler, Michael Neser, who bowled brilliantly bagged four wickets to his name.

However, at one point of time, India A losses their fifth wicket with just 145 runs in the board. Krishnappa Gowtham contributed some vital 31 runs off his bat in the middle with Ankit Bawne. Team India A put up a score of 274 runs in front of Australia A. India A take a lead of 31 runs in the first innings and ended up their score at 274 runs. Michael Neser and Jon Holland picked up some valuable wickets at times when they need to break the partnership.

Furthermore, Australia A opener Kurtis Patterson and Khawaja came to bat for their second innings. They are short of 31 runs and they need to put pressure on India A bowlers.

Meanwhile, Siraj did the job once again for his team picking up the wicket of Patterson. He scored 13 runs in which 12 runs come out from the boundaries.

However, first down Travis Head and his partner Khawaja is at the crease. Australia A takes a lead of 11 runs in the second innings before the end of day 2.
