Not only Justin Langer but players like Sachin Tendulkar and Scott Morrison also penned down beautiful notes remembering Dean Jones.

“A wonderful soul taken away too soon. Had the opportunity to play against him during my first tour of Australia. May his soul rest in peace and my condolences to his loved ones,” Tendulkar wrote.

“A true entertainer at the crease, whose flair with the bat and electric running between the wickets changed the game forever. A genuine good guy & a huge loss,” added Morrison.

Dean Jones ended his Test career with 3,631 runs which had 11 hundreds and 14 half-centuries. He also scored over 6,000 runs in One Day Internationals with 7 hundreds and 46 fifties.
