MS Dhoni is one of the few cricketers whose birthday is one of the days to most look forward to. A little more than a week away, the former Indian captain will turn 39 and with that, MS Dhoni would also have completed one more year in international cricket. Amongst the cricketing world, West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo seems to be excited the most as the 7th of July approaches.
Five days after Bravo unveiled a teaser of the song that he would release on MS Dhoni’s birthday, the 36-year-old posted a sneak peek of another track. Dwayne Bravo took to his official Instagram handle and uploaded the video of the same. He has been part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the last few years and his camaraderie with MS Dhoni is quite well-known.
Dwayne Bravo hails MS Dhoni:
Bravo captioned the video as “Are you ready for July 7th!! @mahi7781 birthday we going to be celebrating his birthday in style with this special track from the Champion team!! @djanamusic @ultrasimmo @collegeboyjesse @arielle.alexa @dexterrthomas guys don’t forget to tag us an let us see your helicopter dance!!”
Sharing the lyrics of the iconic song, Dwayne Bravo sang himself, “MS Dhoni, number 7, MS Dhoni, number 7. 2007 T20 Champion, 2011 became the world champion, the first captain, to win every trophy for his nation, now everybody does the helicopter celebration.”
Perhaps, all that speaks of the keeper-batsman’s achievements, who has won all three trophies for India and guided his IPL franchise of Chennai to three titles. CSK is one of the most successful franchises in the tournament history, having reached the playoffs every season under MS Dhoni.
MS Dhoni turned to organic farming as part of his recent hobby:
The Jharkhand cricketer has remained outside of competitive cricket since the 2019 World Cup semi-final against New Zealand. Dhoni dragged himself to a valiant fifty and Martin Guptill ran him out before the right-handed batsman began switching gears.
And as a part of a sabbatical, the veteran involved himself into an organic farm at his farmhouse in Ranchi. Unlike other cricketers, he has not been as active in the social media amid cricket suspension. However, MS Dhoni’s wife has stayed on the surface.
