The return of Jasprit Bumrah to the Indian Test team instantly brought rich dividends for skipper Virat Kohli. The promising Gujarat-based fast bowler is doing it for India whenever it is necessary. Meanwhile, one of his lethal deliveries surprised former England all-rounder Ian Botham in the commentary panel who lavished praise on him. Rising against the tide, with his unusual action Bumrah bowled a beautiful inswinger from around the wicket to opener Keaton Jennings was a treat to watch.

Eventually, the stunning piece of delivery stuns all the cricket fanatics across the world.

Meanwhile, in the commentary panel, Botham was surprised with the delivery. He stated that it was just unbelievable as he has never seen Bumrah bowling inswingers in the series so far.

The sudden inswinger from Bumrah made Jennings look clueless. He was in the mindset of leaving the ball as Bumrah repeatedly bowled those outswingers.

However, when Bumrah managed it pull it inside, Jennings was still in that ”leave alone” mode thus ended up being trapped LBW and also bagged a duck as well after facing four deliveries.

Meanwhile, Windies great Michael Holding questioned asking can a batsman point out the seam position of a bowler when bowls that quick on the turf?  However, both the overseas individuals are in awe of Bumrah’s excellent inswinger.

“That’s a delivery that Bumrah has developed in the last one week. It’s unbelievable that he could do that. I never saw him bowling that delivery in the Nottingham Test and before that,” Botham said. They attributed this delivery to a different seam position, with Holding saying, “Is it possible for the batsman to read the seam position when the bowler is steaming in at that pace?”.

However, it was a stunning piece of delivery by Jasprit Bumrah. The wicket of Jennings not only provided the breakthrough for India but also opened curtains for England’s fall down in their first innings. Ian Botham was in awe of Bumrah for his brilliant piece of bowling against England.

However, the 20-year-old Sam Curran once again came to rescue of England with the willow.
