In the ongoing Test series between India and England, the former left-arm veteran fast bowler, Ashish Nehra has a hilarious take on Karun Nair. Former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar was not happy with the team management for leaving out Nair for the fifth and final Test match at the Oval in London.

The right-handed batsman Nair has been with the team since the Afghanistan Test in Bengaluru.

However, he was also in the squad for the first four Test matches against England. but was again overlooked by the management.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and team management decided to have a go with Hanuma Vihari, who made his debut on September 7, 2018.

Moreover, Vihari has an average of 59 in his First-class career. However, the right-handed only broke into the squad for the last two Test matches.

Furthermore, many people believe it was hard on Nair to be left out of the team. He had a scored an excellent triple hundred against England in Chennai. Although, Nair has a First-class average of 51.09.

Eventually, Nair has played six Test matches for his country scoring 374 runs at an average of 62.33. He had shown good form with the bat in the recent games. He scored two half-centuries out of his six innings for India A.

Moreover, Nehra feels that Nair has come to England to sell snacks. He used to be there on the field only to practice and to provide water and glucose to their teammates.

In spite of the biggest tournament loss for India, the management team overlooked Nair and introduced Vihari in the team.

”Karun Nair is in England to Sell Chole…With Kulcha & achar and pyaz free,”  Ashish Nehra said on the pre-match show on Sony Ten Network.

However, England sealed the series beating India by 3-1. India is yet to play another Test match against England, where Alastair Cook is playing his last international match.

India had also made some changes to the side and they will be keen to end the series in a winning note against England.
