The win in England always gets celebrated with a champagne bottle. Meanwhile, India skipper Virat Kohli also received the champagne bottle when he was adjudged the man of the match for his 200 runs at Trent Bridge. Meanwhile, somehow, Ravi Shastri has become the fodder for Twitter.

Virat Kohli handed the champagne to coach, Ravi Shastri which took everyone by surprise. It has never happened before, at least in front of the cameras, that a captain is handing a champagne bottle to the head coach. Meanwhile, the Twitter world goes crazy about it.

Champagne gets some limelight here –

Coming to the match, it was all about Ravi Shastri’s boys there at Trentbridge. The perfect team performance handed India a sweet victory to make a statement of their own to Englishmen.

When asked the visitors to bat first, the fantastic partnership between Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane kept England on the back foot. Though India missed the fireworks by the lower-order batsman, they managed a decent 329 on the board.

In reply, England completely got outclassed by Hardik Pandya. He bagged his first-ever five-wicket haul to make India dictate terms for England. His incredible effort made India bundle out England for mere 161. Taking a huge lead, it was once again Virat Kohli who knocked a brilliant tonne. Virat Kohli was well supported by Cheteshwar Pujara and the later fireworks by Hardik Pandya push India to set 521-run target for England.

Chasing the target, England lost their top four batsmen for the low scores. However, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes fought hard in the middle for quite a while. But, the second new ball did the trick for India. Jasprit Bumrah’s incredible piece of display changed the match scenario in just one spell. All in all, Virat Kohli-led side bagged a memorable victory to snatch one win in the five-match Test series.
