Former India swashbuckling batsman, Virender Sehwag gives his report on England vs India 2018 series. The former skipper, who tried his hand for the head coach position of India carried a brief note on the areas that need to get corrected.

Virender Sehwag feels India has got a lot of positives to take on for the future tours. From Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul back to the form to the exceptional display of fast bowling by the Indians, the visitors have got a lot of positives.

Speaking of the series, Virender Sehwag began by congratulating England for their series victory. He went on add saying India was brilliant in patches but failed to remain consistent.

Further, Virender Sehwag felt that Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul’s fight on the last day of the tour was exceptional. And, also mentioned the consistency of the Virat Kohli and India’s fast bowling department.

All in all, he ended up writing India needs a bit of improvement to be the better travellers.

Pant & Rahul’s display on last day was very heartening, so were Kohli’s & the bowlers consistency throughout .Need to work a lot to travel better.Ab MissionAustralia,” Virender Sehwag’s tweet read.

However, as Virender Sehwag said, India needs to work on a few aspects of the game to travel better. With Australia being the bouncy pitches, it would be interesting to see how Indians would cope up with it.

Meanwhile, India, who stood on top of the ICC ranking chart with 125 points in their kitty lost ten points. Though they still hold the number one position, they were down to 115 points. On the other side, England climbed to fourth place.
