As always, the India skipper, Virat Kohli is once again attracting all the eyeballs. The right-hander was at his best in the first Test at Edgbaston and probably is trying to repeat the similar performance in upcoming Lord’s game.

The classy right-handed batsman knocked his first Test century in England in the first Test and is optimistic about his performance in the second one as well. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli hits hard at net sessions ahead of his side’s next encounter.

Earlier, ahead of the first Test, Virat Kohli was the talk of the town. He was the failure in 2014 tour but hit back all the critics with his masterful century in the first innings at Edgbaston.

Though Kohli escaped a couple of times through Dawid Malan’s butterfingers, he stroked the ball beautifully by piercing the gaps with his perfect blade.

Ahead of the 2nd Test at Lord’s, the skipper of Indian cricket worked hard at nets session. The BCCI has released the video of him practising in the nets via their official Twitter panel.

However, Virat Kohli carried his form in the second innings as well by knocking a gutsy fifty but couldn’t continue with the flow. Ben Stokes undid him with a classic inswinger which dented Indian chances during the chase.

Coming to the captaincy, one can expect Virat Kohli and the management changing the core XI. Possibly, their Tests specialist, Cheteshwar Pujara might be back while one between Dhawan and KL Rahul will make a way.

It is also possible that India might go with an extra-spinner, as Lord’s wicket will offer assistance to the spinners. Another person who is riding his luck is Umesh Yadav who failed to perform at Edgbaston.

The comeback wicketkeeper, Dinesh Karthik wasn’t impressive either with his gloves or batting. He left his skipper when it mattered the most and shelled out few catches as well.
