England vs India: Michael Vaughan Calls Virat Kohli The Best Player

The former skipper of England, Michael Vaughan took a U-turn. In his latest tweet, he changed his thinking for Virat Kohli as Vaughan called him the best player. It is not the first time when India skipper, Virat Kohli shut the mouth of his haters. He said there is no question mark in calling him the best player.

The Tweet of Michael Vaughan reads as:

“He is no question at all the best player in the world … @imVkohli … #100 #ENGvIND”

In the second inning of the third Test match at Trent Bridge, the Indian captain slammed the second ton of the series. It was his 23rd Test ton from Virat Kohli and second on Indian soil.

He now occupies the number three spot in most tons as a skipper. Graeme Smith who has 25 and Ricky Ponting who has 19 are just ahead of Indian skipper.

The captain of india also equaled the record of Virender Sehwag. He has the fourth spot in most Test tons for India. Sachin Tendulkar (51), Rahul Dravid (36) and Sunil Gavaskar (34) are only three Indian cricketers who are above Virat Kohli in the list.

Besides this, it was 11th ton from Indian skipper outside Asia continent. Sachin Tendulkar is topping the list with 18 tons. Virat Kohli occupies the fourth spot after he leapfrogged Inzamam-ul-Haq who has 10 tons.

Chris Woakes dismissed Indian skipper on 103 after he trapped him plumb in front of the wickets. His knock includes ten boundaries.
Initially, Indian captain missed his ton by just three runs. It was Adil Rashid who dismissed Virat Kohli on 97 runs.
