Here comes the new selection headache for the Indian selectors. Recently-injured Kedar Jadhav is back from it and raring to go for team India return. During the course, on testing purpose, the Maharashtra cricketer was asked to represent India A in the Deodhar Trophy 2018.

The injury to Kedar Jadhav had brought physios under the radar, as he was repeatedly picking up the same injury. However, this time, he has been recovered quickly, but the selectors want to test his fitness.

After a lengthy lay-off from injury, Kedar Jadhav made a comeback for India in the Asia Cup 2018. He impressed one and all with his bowling and also delivered the goods with his willow as well.

However, in the final of the Asia Cup 2018, he once again picked the same injury thus making himself unavailable from the selection for the Windies series. Meanwhile, it opened the gates for Rishabh Pant to make his debut in the team as well.

With India set to announce the squad for remaining three ODI games, the selectors will assess the fitness of Kedar Jadhav in the Deodhar Trophy before picking him back in the side. Meanwhile, the all-rounder has been added to India A team and will be locking horns against Ajinkya Rahane-led India C.

Most probably, Kedar Jadhav will be back on India’s teamsheet, as Virat Kohli insisted the unorthodox all-rounder holds the major part in the team planning for the upcoming 2019 World Cup.

However, Jadhav and Hardik Pandya are going to be prime weapons for India in the upcoming grand event. The management already cited they would like to use their all-round services.

With only 16 games are on the line ahead of the 2019 World Cup, team India would like to test everyone to give the best squad possible for the major event in the international cricket.
