Of late, the hectic schedule is affecting the personal life of the cricketers in the Indian cricket. Because of BCCI scheduling games right one after the other, the players get to be on the field for the major part of the year. Meanwhile, India skipper Virat Kohli raised his concern to all wives to stay with their husbands for the entire series. Speaking of the same, Gautam Gambhir also supports the Indian captain.
Recently, Virat Kohli asked BCCI to extend two weeks to the entire season to spend time with their families. Meanwhile, head of the Indian cricket revealed they would take enough time for a call on it.
If they are performing well, nothing should stop – Gautam Gambhir
Speaking of the same, Gautam Gambhir feels the outside things should not affect the players. He wants BCCI to give whatever the players want to keep a positive mindset for the players.

“It depends on individuals and players to decide if they want wives for the entire tour or no. If they are performing well, then nothing should stop them,” said the left-handed batsman.
One of the sources revealed the Indian skipper requested on behalf of the players. The source also added the team manager is yet to write down the formal request to the Indian Cricket Board.

“The request was made a few weeks back but as it is a BCCI policy decision, the manager will have to submit a formal request first. Anushka has been travelling with Kohli overseas, however, Kohli now wants the old rule to be abolished and a new policy should come up where wives should be allowed to travel with the Indian team,” a source was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
However, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out. Probably, BCCI will give their decision in a positive way for the players. Meanwhile, they need to look after the expenses and other possible concerns with the decision.
