Gautam Gambhir is undoubtedly one of the most serious characters on the cricket field. And his has proved it on the field with the bat. Known for his aggressive nature, the veteran batsman has been rarely seen sporting a smile.

Well, it seems the southpaw is angry and serious character takes the back seat when he spends quality time with his beautiful daughter Aazeen.

Earlier this week, he tweeted a photo of himself enjoying an ice-cream with his daughter in Paris.

And now, he has posted a tweet that is so uncharacteristic of him. Gambhir drew a hilarious comparison between his three consecutive ducks in the IPL in 2014.

The latest picture reveals his daughter is hugging a person dressed as Donald Duck at Disneyland. He also posted a collage of two pictures, writing:

“Well, you can say there’s something about ‘Ducks’ & Gambhirs, they seem inseparable. And I am worried it is crossing generations too ???!!! Hopefully like her Papa, Aazeen has a trophy (or a toffee) round the corner too”

Meanwhile, this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) was a forgettable one for Gambhir.  The veteran batsman sensationally stepped down as Delhi Daredevils (DD) skipper after his side’s dismal start to the season.

Under his captaincy, the Daredevils managed a solitary win in six games.

The left-handed batsman Gambhir also failed to lead his team from the front.

The former Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) captain started the season on a brilliant note, scoring 55 against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

However, his performance dipped after that. In the next four innings, he was dismissed for single-digit score thrice. Overall, he managed to score only 85 runs in six matches.

Concluding, Gautam Gambhir did not play a single game after stepping down and had also not taken his fees for the season.
