The all-rounder Hardik Pandya and the opening batsman KL Rahul are facing the heat from the respective Indian Cricket Board and the fans for the sexist remarks, they made in the Koffee With Karan Show. Meanwhile, they got a supporter on their side in the form of S Sreesanth, who believes that they should be allowed to play the game.

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were called back from the Australian tour and also handed their suspension letters. The duo will not feature in Australia and New Zealand series and also not sure about their participation in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019.

Speaking of the duo, the discarded Indian cricketer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth quoted that it is tough for the cricketers to stay away from the game of cricket. He also highlighted the fact that the grand event in the game of cricket, ICC World Cup 2019 is also around the corner.

It is hard for a cricketer to miss games – Sreesanth

Sreesanth admitted that Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have committed mistakes but he feels that there are people, who are surviving happily even after committing bigger crimes. Sreesanth wants both the cricketers to be allowed to play the game quickly.

“I will only say that whatever happened was very bad, but the World Cup is around the corner. Both Hardik and Rahul are both good cricketers,” Sreesanth told reporters here. I will only say to Hardik and Rahul, that surely they are both match-winners and sooner or later they will be back on the field. Yes, I know how difficult it is for a cricketer to miss the game and I just hope BCCI allows them to play, once they realise I am sure they should be playing where they should be playing.”

“Yes, what happened was wrong. They said some wrong things. But there are others whose have made bigger mistakes than these, who are still playing and are in different fields, not just cricket. The same people are speaking about this. When they see an opportunity they pounce on it like tigers,” Sreesanth said.

Well, perhaps, Sreesanth has the valid point in his kitty. Now or later, both the cricketers will once again get the chance to play for India. During the course, this might not be the good thing to make both cricketers miss out playing in ICC World Cup 2019.

Currently, both the cricketers are suspended from playing all forms of cricket. The punishment will be handed soon for them, after making an enquiry.
