Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul Reveal Their Favourite Indian Skipper

India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya and opening batsman KL Rahul have revealed their favourite Indian captain. Both of them made their debut under MS Dhoni. Meanwhile, now they are playing under the leadership of current skipper Virat Kohli. Hardik Pandya made his way back into the Test squad after he was ruled out with a low back injury.

On the other hand, KL Rahul is struggling with his form in the red ball version. Rahul has had enough chances but he hasn’t been able to deliver the goods while opening the innings for the Indian team.

Rahul has had his issues against the incoming ball and has been all at sea. He was dropped from the third Test match against Australia but once again got his chance in the final game. Unfortunately, Rahul could not come up roses in the first innings and once again let the team down.

Meanwhile, both KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya share a great bonhomie with each other. They had also exchanged their jerseys during an IPL match in the 2018 edition. Both the players made their appearance on Koffee with Karan recently and revealed their favourite captain.

“MS Dhoni because I made my debut and it was fantastic,” Pandya said.

Rahul, on the other hand, said: “In terms of achievement, yes MS Dhoni”.

MS Dhoni is India’s most successful captain with World T20, World Cup and Champions Trophy in his bag. On the other hand, KL Rahul believes Indian skipper needs a break as he works hard a lot.

When Karan asked which Indian player should go for therapy, Rahul replied, “I think Virat. He needs to calm down. I keep telling him, he’s just, he has never had a holiday mode. He’s always like ‘work, work, work’.”

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya said he likes to take fitness advice from Virat Kohli and also called him the best prankster. KL Rahul revealed that Virat Kohli is the most romantic player in the Indian team.
