Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s love for expensive watches is well-pronounced, having flaunted some of the gems of his collection on past occasions. Although Hardik’s love for expensive gadgets has been a topic of debate, he barely bats an eye to criticism and continues to go about his business.

The social media was abuzz once again when the 26-year-old displayed yet another expensive watch from his collection, from the brand Rolex.

The occasion was Hardik’s elder brother, Krunal Pandya’s birthday. While the former shared a birthday post for the latter, netizens couldn’t help but notice the watch on Hardik’s hand, that is estimated to be worth INR 1 crores. Yep, that’s right, that’s how seriously the Baroda cricketer takes his fashion game.

Hardik Pandya spotted wearing a watch worth 1 crore on Krunal Pandya’s birthday:

As per reports, Hardik was sporting a ‘Rolex Daytona Yellow Gold Cosmograph 40 in 18-carat yellow gold case.’ To be precise, the watch is priced at Rs 1,01,25,000 and has the following features:

  • A screw-down yellow gold back
  • A screw-down crown and push buttons with triblock triple waterproof
  • Fixed bezel set with 36 trapeze cut diamonds (4.58 ct)
  • Scratch-resistant double anti-reflective sapphire crystal
  • Eye of the Tiger diamond-paved black lacquered yellow gold dial
  • 8 diamond hour markers and gold-toned hands

This is not the first occasion, however, when the Indian international was seen wearing an expensive watch. Last year, when Hardik posted an image after successfully undergoing back surgery, he was seen sporting a gadget worth 81 lakhs on his wrist.

The right-handed all-rounder had been suffering from niggling injuries, after which he decided to have surgery once and for all, on his back. Recently, he returned to full fitness and turned out for Reliance One in the DY Patil T20 Cup and scored a quickfire 158 run inning in just 55 balls.

Hardik was in line to return to international cricket this month, with India scheduled to play South Africa, although the series was called off due to fears surrounding the Coronavirus Pandemic.
