Here is What Police Has to Say on Mohammed Shami-Hasin Jahan Case

In a recent turn of events for India fast-bowler Mohammed Shami, the cricketer’s’ career has suddenly taken a downward slide.

Shami’s wife has accused the fast bowler of having extramarital and has leaked some questionable pictures of Shami’s Whatsapp chats.

However, Shami who is currently playing in the Deodhar Trophy in Dharamsala has dismissed all the allegations imposed by his wife.

Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan went to Lalbazar police headquarters after all the accusation.

Jahan on Wednesday posted several screenshots of Messenger and Whatsapp messages on her Facebook wall, in a bid to expose the pacer’s extra-marital affair.

She also accused the Indian fast bowler of domestic violence.

Joint commissioner (crime) Praveen Tripathi spoke to Times of India and said,

“She came to Lalbazar and met us. She has told us in detail about the trouble between her and her husband but did not lodge any official complaint.”

On the other hand, Jahan accused the fast bowler in a statement saying, 

“Shami abused me and started beating me even after returning from South Africa. He has been doing this for quite some time now, and now I have had enough. I tried to convince myself for the sake of my family and daughter but he kept on harassing me, and when I found those obscene chats with multiple women, all hell broke. I cannot tolerate this anymore, and I have decided to take legal actions with all the available evidence. Instead of accepting his own mistakes, he used to vent his anger on me and even threaten me, asking to keep mum for my own goodwill,” 

However, Shami denied his wife’s charges. Shami wrote,

“Hi. I’m Mohammad Shami. Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai,”
