ICC Documents Bangladesh Women Cricketer's Unique Marriage Photoshoot

The global governing council on Wednesday documented unique marriage photoshoot of Bangladesh women cricketer Sanjida Islam. The pre-marriage photoshoot are a trend these days and every couple seems to have some uniqueness to their pictures. Bangladesh’s Sanjida Islam did not with a cricket bat.

Sanjida tied the knot with First-Class cricketer Mim Mosaddeak who plays for Rangpur. She made the occasion all the more special as along with her dress, jewelry, she also carried a cricket bat for the photoshoot, which took the cake. She carried the cricket bat to the photshoot to showcase her love for the game.

The global governing council posted four pictures from the photoshoot in which she could be seen batting. The captioned the picture as “dress, jewelry and carried a cricket”. She was captured in the pictures posing for some cover drives and pull shots.

Islam played 3 matches for Bangladesh and managed just 26 runs with a top score of 13 as Bangladesh did not make the knockout phase of the tournament. She had made her debut for the national team in 2012 against Ireland in Dublin.
