ICC World Cup 2019: Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma Bond Ahead Of The Afghanistan Clash

Indian National Cricket Team have started their ICC World Cup 2019 campaign on a good note winning three of the four games so far while the match against New Zealand was a washout. They have produced clinical effort in all the departments and are currently at the fourth spot with seven points. And now, after a gruelling start to the campaign, the cricketers finally got a chance to bond with their families. India skipper Virat Kohli was seen roaming with wife Anushka Sharma on the streets of London their clash against Afghanistan on June 22 (Saturday).

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly allowed the wives and family members of the Indian players and the support staff to stay with the team for 15 days during the ongoing World Cup. The Indian team are on a break, and Virat Kohli took some time out to spend some quality time with his wife Anushka Sharma amidst the tight schedule.

A Virat Kohli fan page posted about the outing on social media and captioned it, “@virat.kohli and @anushkasharma on the old bond street in London today! I love Anushka’s new haircut.”

Previously, Shikhar Dhawan also posted a picture along with her wife, Ayesha Mukherjee. Dhawan is currently out of action with a finger injury he sustained during the game against Australia. The southpaw is likely to be out of action for 10-12 days. Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh accompanied Dhawan and his family on a train journey.

The Virat Kohli-led India will be in action next against Afghanistan on June 22 (Saturday) at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
