Pakistan cricketer Imam-ul-Haq has landed in deep controversy after a series of obscene chats were out on social media allegedly of him having multiple affairs and cheating on girls. WhatsApp chats were put out on Twitter to accuse Imam of exploiting women.
Imam lands in fresh trouble
Imam-ul-Haq has been an integral part of the Pakistan squad for the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2019. He had a good outing in England scoring a fifty against Australia and a century against Bangladesh. However, couldn’t change Pakistan’s fortune in the tournament. They have been the most unpredictable side in the World Cup. They suffered a humiliating defeat to West Indies in the tournament opener but bounced back to beat favourites England only then to go down against in the next few games. The Men In Greens managed to win only five games before bowing out virtue a poor net run-rate for their miserable defeat against West Indies.
The Pakistan team were surrounded with off-field controversies, and there are no tendencies to leave that behind as start batsman Imam-ul-Haq has landed himself in a mud another altercation. A few leaked chats surfaced on social media platform Twitter accusing the cricketer of having multiple affairs with women and exploiting them.
Meanwhile, The Twitter handle from which the alleged chats came out has been deleted, but screenshots of the text messages are being circulated on social media. The incident also has divided the Twitter users with some questioning the cricketer’s conduct while others are criticising the girls.
Here are the screenshots of the leaked conversations:

Since when dating or not marrying someone you promised became a part of #Metoo. I can’t see #Imamulhaq harassing or asking for pictures. Stop misusing this # to defame someone when its consensual. It’ll lose worth & actual victim won’t get help!🙏🏻
How this come under #metoo?😐😐 pic.twitter.com/JLtDU77rGJ

So apparently Mr. @ImamUlHaq12 was dating 7 to 8 (that we know of) women and kept using them and manipulating them. He kept telling them the whole time how he’s single. Some of the screenshots attached from girl 1: pic.twitter.com/UzIl98ryAw
