My Son Will Relish Time Spent With MS Dhoni: Imran Tahir

Former South African spinner, Imran Tahir has hailed his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain and teammate, MS Dhoni for his generosity off the field. MS Dhoni was seen enjoying a sprint race with his teammate Shane Watson and Imran Tahir’s sons after CSK had defeated KXIP in a group match of IPL 2019.
Dhoni joined the star duos sons in the sprint and later carried Imran Tahir’s son to the finish line leaving junior Watson behind. Imran has termed that moment as a ‘special’ moment for his son and said that he will forever be grateful to MS Dhoni for displaying this act of kindness.
MS Dhoni has been leading the Chennai-based franchise from the inception of the tournament in 2008 and has won 3 titles with them so far.
Imran Tahir Heaps Praise On His CSK Skipper MS Dhoni
Imran Tahir told Rupha Ramani in a live YouTube chat for Chennai Super Kings that his son Gibran will relish the time he spent with MS Dhoni after growing up. CSK anchor showed Imran a photo of MS Dhoni playing with Tahir’s son Gibran from last IPL season.
“It was very special moment for my son. Very grateful to Mahi bhai. You know what a wonderful guy he is and what a wonderful captain he is. He is also a great human being. That inspires me more about him and his family,” Imran Tahir said in the YouTube chat.

I Have A Lot Of Respect For MS Dhoni: Imran Tahir
“I am just so happy that he always give messages about Gibran on his birthday, which you missed this year. And yeah you know playing with him Jibran will one day, he will be like I am not sure I was Gibran. Growing up he will be like I played with MS Dhoni one of the world’s best captain,” Imran Tahir said.
“It’s really good of him to interact with the kids and the way he is carrying himself around people, it’s unbelievable to see. Personally I have lots and lots of respect for him and we always keep him and all the Chennai players in our prayers,” Tahir added.
