India to Play Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in a T20I Tri-Series Following South Africa Tour

India beat Sri Lanka by five wickets in Mumbai to clean sweep the visitors 3-0.

Following the end of the tour of South Africa that ends on February 24, India will be travelling to Sri Lanka yet again for a seven-match T20I tri-series also involving the host nation and Bangladesh starting on 6th March.

The tournament called the NIDHAS Trophy 2018 will be played as a part of the 70th year of Sri Lanka’s independence. It will be played in a round robin format with all the three teams playing each other twice before the top two teams qualify for the final which is slated to be played on 18th March. All the seven matches will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
