Well, there comes a special gesture from the Indian National Cricket Team to the families of the Martyrs in the recent Pulawama attack. The Indian Team led by Virat Kohli will be wearing specially designed Army caps for the third ODI game at Ranchi. It is the home place of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is lieutenant colonel of the Indian army.

Last month, India lost the lives of the 44 CRPF soldiers in a terrorist attack at Pulawama. The incident took place when a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the bus they were travelling in. This is one of the worst terror strikes in the state since the Uri attack in 2016.

It was the tough attack to swallow for the Indians, who asked India to boycott Pakistan in every possible way. In between, Indian Air Force thrashed the terrorist camps, who had a base in Pakistan through air strikes. As per the reports, at least 300 terrorists are killed in the heroic act.

Meanwhile, a lot of individuals have pushed themselves to donate something for the families of the martyrs family. Regarding the same, the current Indian team are giving their match fees to the national fund and are playing with Army caps in the 3rd ODI game at Ranchi.

Speaking of the gesture, the Indian skipper quoted that it is a special cap to wear in the match while playing for India. Further, he urged fans to help the families of the affected in whatever way it is possible.

”This is a special cap, it’s a tribute to the Armed forces. We’re all donating our match fees of this game to the Nation’s Defence Fund. I urge everyone in the country to do the same, donate and stick to the families of our armed forces. Special game for us,” Virat Kohli said.

All in all, it is a special gesture from the Indian National Cricket Team to the soldier’s family. Hopefully, it would serve well for the well-being of the affected souls in the ghastly act.
