Before heading into the series, it would be interesting to see whether India will make any changes to the Test squad or not. Though Bangladesh is lower-ranked compared to India in Test format, the board would afraid to bring in changes, as it falls under ICC World Test Championship. Meanwhile, we figured out the squad for the Bangladesh series.
India’s Probable Squad For Bangladesh Series:
1. Rohit Sharma:

Is there any question of him being removed from the squad? Following his inclusion in the team for South Africa as an opener, Rohit Sharma has shown that he is going to stay there for a while. He already smashed a double century coupled with two centuries in Visakhapatnam.
2. Mayank Agarwal:

He was yet another magical player India has acquired in the recent past. Following his heroics in overseas, Agarwal showed that he is capable of scoring runs for the team in home conditions as well. He dominated South Africa bowlers with ease to make things fall in place.
3. Cheteshwar Pujara:

Surprisingly, Cheteshwar Pujara hasn’t made much impact on the game in the South Africa series unless a half-century.?? However, being a Test specialist, the flamboyant batsman would once again make his name on the squad for the Bangladesh series.
4. Virat Kohli:

The Indian skipper is having a sensational time in the White Jersey for the Indian team. After repeated failures in West Indies, Virat Kohli smashed a stunning double century against South Africa to get back into his form. Meanwhile, as a skipper, he is having a solid time in the middle by leading the team to perfection.
5. Ajinkya Rahane:

He has been brilliant for India since the series against West Indies. When things are not going in favour of India, Ajinkya Rahane came up with solid show to help his side come out from the danger. He would once again be the key for India against Bangladesh.
6. Ravindra Jadeja:

The stylish southpaw Ravindra Jadeja has once again proved why he is a match-winner for the team irrespective of the format. Both with the bat and the ball, the all-rounder has made things fall in place for the team. And there is no denying to the fact that he is a solid fielder of India.

Off course, he will be a certain player on the side. He already proved his worth as the wicket-keeper of the team with his stunning show behind the stumps against South Africa.
9. Rishabh Pant:

Despite warming up the bench, he would get the nod against Bangladesh. He replaced Saha in the final innings of the final Test match against South African when Saha hurt his finger.
10. Ravichandran Ashwin:

Most probably, the Indian team management will be relying their shoulders on Ashwin. He has been brilliant for the team with his spin on flat pitches and gives those crucial runs down the order as well.
11. Umesh Yadav:

With the show he displayed in the Ranchi, the selection panel will think twice before removing him from the team despite Jasprit Bumrah in the race. The way he rattled South Africa lineup was blistering to watch.
12. Mohammed Shami:

The right-handed fast bowler is yet another senior in the side, who made tremendous change to his bowling. His consistency has been stunning and delivering goods on a regular basis.
13. Ishant Sharma:

The lanky fast bowler will be a certain name on the chart for India. He has been a test specialist and delivers those match-winning spells for the team. The experienced lad would likely start in the playing XI as well.
14. Shubman Gill:

The youngster didn’t get an opportunity to play in the series against South Africa. Still, he will get that opportunity, maybe, a debut cap as well.
15. Kuldeep Yadav:

It will be unfortunate to see Shahbaz Nadeem making way for Kuldeep Yadav. But, it is how it is. Nadeem will start as a standby while Kuldeep will make into the squad, as he is their primary option.
